Holiday Party Snacks!
This recipe is sponsored by FoodSaver®, all opinions are my own.
Aight Guys!! The holidays are fast approaching which means it’s time for parties and get-togethers! So this month, I have partnered with FoodSaver® to show how easy they make preparing ahead for your party a breeze!

FoodSaver® allows you to be able to make all of your party favorites ahead of time, so we are making Jalapeno Poppers, Sausage Balls and Bacon Wrapped Pickles for our get together! We focused on making the Jalapeno Poppers for this video, but I will list all three recipes below so you can have them!

We are gonna start out by browning up your ground sausage. You can use mild or hot, that is your choice. While the sausage is cooking, slice and core the jalapenos. When the sausage is done, mix it with cream cheese and parmesan cheese. Once you get everything mixed together, it’s time to get those peppers stuffed with the mixture. Be careful not to overfill them because you will have a mess if you do. When you get all the peppers stuffed, we are going to wrap each one with bacon and season with your favorite BBQ Rub/Seasoning. Now that everything is done for our poppers, I like to stick them in the freezer for 20 to 30 minutes to firm them up.

While those are in the freezer firming up, I’m going to cut the FoodSaver® bags off the roll to the size I need and seal up one end. The awesome thing about the FoodSaver® VS3000 series is that it comes with a built-in roll storage and bag cutter, so cutting bags to length is a breeze! The VS3000 series also has 3 different modes when it comes to vacuum sealing. It has a Dry, Moist and Pulse option available. I chose the Moist option for this video just in case there was any moisture in the bag from the food. Make sure to label each bag and date it, so you can keep track of everything. Now you can pull your poppers out of the freezer, place them in the Vacuum Seal Bags and get them vacuum and sealed up. All you gotta do now is place them back in the freezer until it is party time!

When you are ready to cook all your party snacks, simply take them out of the freezer and place them in the fridge the night before. Then the next day, take them out of the fridge and I like to place mine on a wire rack. I have my pellet smoker set to 300 degrees and cook until the bacon is nice and crispy! The Sausage Balls were done before everything else, so I pulled them off first.

All that’s left to do is plate everything up and get ready for your party! FoodSaver® makes everything so much easier! Happy Holidays Everyone!
