Tailgating Chicken Sliders and Tacos!
This recipe is sponsored by FoodSaver®, all opinions are my own.
Aight Guys!! It’s Football Season, which means it’s time for Tailgating! So I have partnered up with FoodSaver® to show you how to make sure your Tailgate is a success! So today, we are doing a simulated Tailgate/Homegate using the FoodSaver® Multi-Use Handheld Vacuum Sealer for a simple 12 Minute marinade on some awesome Chicken Tacos and Sliders!

We are using boneless skinless chicken thighs because they work so much better than the breasts which tend to dry out. The first marinade we decided on is a Buffalo Sweet Heat Marinade and the second one is just a simple Italian Marinade. The cool part is that you can mix your marinade up ahead of time and keep it in the FoodSaver® Preserve and Marinate Container and carry it with you to the Tailgate. Then once you get there, just throw your chicken in the container with the marinade and hook up the Multi-Use Handheld Vacuum Sealer for just a short 12 minute marinade! Yep you heard me right, it only takes 12 minutes to marinate and it definitely packs in those flavors!

While the chicken is marinating, it’s time to get the grill fired up! Once the chicken is finished marinating, it’s time to get it on the grill and seasoned up. It’s a hot and fast cook, so you want to keep flipping the chicken constantly so it doesn’t burn. I brought some sauteed onions from the house and just tossed them on the grill to heat up. Once your chicken reaches an internal temp of 165, pull it off, allow it to rest.

Since the chicken needs to rest, now is a good time to throw some tortillas on the grill and get them heated up. Once the chicken is done resting (about 5 minutes), now it’s time to slice it all up and get everything assembled on the table!

As you can see, this is a quick and easy recipe and it’s amazing how much flavor you get with only a 12 minute marinade using the FoodSaver® Multi-Use Handheld Vacuum Sealer! Once everything is on the table, you can do this one of two ways. You can go ahead and have all your Tacos and Sliders assembled or you can put it out like a buffet line and let everyone fix them how they want. Either way, you can’t go wrong because come on, it’s a Tailgate and everyone wants to eat and have a great time!
