Smoked Meatloaf

Ingredients

Meatloaf

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup sauteed onions
  • 1/3 cup ketchup
  • 1 1/2 cups oatmeal
  • 1/3 cup heavy whipping cream

Glaze

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 3 tbsp mustard
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup

Instructions

Meatloaf

  • In a large bowl combine all ingredients. Mix by hand until well combined. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Place meatloaf mixture in a disposable aluminum pan.
  • Set grill up indirect at 250 degrees. I used chunks of cherry wood for flavor.
  • Place meatloaf on grill, let it smoke until internal temp reaches 165 degrees.
  • Pour glaze over meatloaf, continue to smoke until glaze is set. 10-15 minutes

  • mix all ingredients until well combined
