Aight Guys!! Let's talk about football and chicken wings! I mean I can eat chicken wings anytime, but everyone expects them when it comes down to the big game. So I say give the people what they want! There are so many varieties of wings, so I decided to mix it up a bit on these! How can you go wrong with smoked wings drizzled with a sweet heat and savory glaze! Now let me show you how to make em!
Ingredients
Chicken Wings
-
1 - Large Pack of Whole Chicken Wings
-
Bear & Burton’s W Sauce
-
Lane’s BBQ Cubano Seasoning
Wing Sauce
-
1 - Stick of Unsalted Butter
-
2 - Tbsp of Bear & Burton’s W Sauce
-
3 - Tbsp of Bear & Burton’s Everyday Hot Sauce
-
2 - Tsp of Garlic Powder
-
2 - Tsp of Brown Sugar
-
Salt & Pepper to Taste
Directions
Chicken Wings
Preheat Grill or Smoker. I used my Weber Kettle with the Vortex for my setup and added a chunk of hickory wood for the smoke. My Grill was running around 450 degrees.
I left my chicken wings whole and coated them well with Bear & Burton’s W Sauce and let sit for 15 minutes and then seasoned them well with Lane’s BBQ Cubano Seasoning.
Place chicken wings on the grill and allow to cook for about 20 minutes and then flip the wings over to finish cooking.
While the wings are cooking, make up your wing sauce.
Once the wings are done, pull off the grill, place in a bowl and pour the hot wing sauce all over the wings making sure to coat them all well.
Plate them up on a platter with celery and carrots and dig in!
Wing Sauce
Place butter in a sauce pot over medium heat and allow to melt. Next add in all other ingredients, mix well, reduce heat and allow to simmer for about 5 minutes.
Recipe Note
You can also mix up some kind of dipping sauce to dip them in as well, but they are fantastic on their own!
