Aight Guys!! I hope everyone is having a Happy New Year! I had to get on here and share this recipe with you! I found this pack of ribs at my local Costco and basically what they did is take a slab of spare ribs and cut them horizontally into about 2" wide strips. Once you cook them, you can cut them up into these little bite size pieces of heaven! The flavor that came out of these was absolutely insane! Just juicy little bites of sweet tangy goodness! Now let me show you how we made em!
Ingredients
Sticky Juicy Rib Bites
-
1 - Pack of Pork Spare Rib Portions from Costco
-
1 - Bottle of Chickadees Craft Sauces German Style Ketchup
-
1 - Bottle of Chickadees Craft Sauces Honey Mustard BBQ Sauce
-
BamaGrillMaster Smokey Sweet Rub
-
½ - Cup of Brown Sugar
-
½ - Stick of butter cut into cubes
-
1 - Green Onion sliced up for garnish
Directions
Sticky Juicy Rib Bites
Place your ribs into a pan and smother good with a bottle of German Style Ketchup, cover and place in refrigerator overnight.
Preheat pellet smoker to 250 degrees and use cherry wood/pellets for the smoke.
Season ribs on all sides with my Smokey Sweet Rub and place in preheated smoker and allow to smoke for 3 hours.
After 3 hours of smoking, remove the ribs and place in a pan. Throw your cubes of butter on top along with some of my Smokey Sweet Rub and sprinkle with brown sugar. Lastly pour the Honey Mustard BBQ Sauce over the ribs and cover with foil. (Reserve some of the Honey Mustard for basting at the end)
Crank smoker up to 300 degrees and place your pan of covered ribs back into the smoker and allow to cooker 1 more hour.
After an hour, remove the foil and baste ribs good with the remainder of the Honey Mustard BBQ Sauce and allow to cook for another 10-15 minutes or until sauce is set.
Bring your ribs inside, allow to cool for a few minutes, slice them up and garnish with green onions. Time to go in for that bite! Dig in and enjoy!
