Let's talk chicken legs! They are great for an easy weeknight meal or great for parties and tailgating. I mean the flavor combos are endless and they are extremely versatile to work with. Now come on and I'll show you what we did to these!
Ingredients
BBQ Chicken Legs
-
12 - Whole Chicken Legs
-
12 - Slices of Regular Cut Bacon
-
Aight Guys!! AbsolutelyFreakinKiller AP Rub
-
Aight Guys!! Smokey Sweet Rub
-
Grill Pinz
-
Your Favorite BBQ or Wing Sauce
Directions
Preheat Smoker to 450 degrees. I am using my Weber Kettle with the Vortex Insert and Jealous Devil Charcoal.
Season Chicken Legs on all sides with my Aight Guys!! AbsolutelyFreakinKiller AP Rub.
Next wrap your chicken legs in bacon and secure them with a Grill Pinz or toothpicks. Once your bacon is on, cut little slits in your chicken, but try not to cut through the bacon all the way or it will fall off.
Season the bacon with my Aight Guys!! Smokey Sweet Rub and place them on the grill. Allow to cook until they reach an internal temp of around 160. Take your favorite BBQ sauce or wing sauce, coat them good and back on the grill for another 10-15 minutes so the sauce sets.
Plate your legs up, but be sure to remove your pins or toothpicks and dig in!
