Aight Guys!! Today it’s all about those family favorite recipes that we grew up with. I grew up with a family of foodies, so my dad was always grilling and my mom was always in the kitchen. Anything and everything we did revolved around food. So for instance, we would be sitting down to breakfast and discussing what we were gonna have for lunch and dinner. Growing up in Bama’s house, there was one meal that always seemed to make it to the dinner table. And that was none other than good ole meatloaf! So I figured it was time to revive it, but this time putting my own spin on it by smoking it! It’s a super simple recipe that packs a flavor punch!!
Start by mixing all ingredients in a large bowl. Once you have them well mixed, it’s into a disposable pan (because who wants to do dishes, right).
For this cook, I have my grill set up as indirect running at 250 degrees. I am using chunks of Cherry wood to get that good smoky flavor. The pan goes right on the grill uncovered and it will smoke until it gets to an internal temperature of at least 165 degrees.
When the meatloaf is about 10-15 degrees away from the desired internal temperature, it’s time to get saucy. Simply pour your glaze over the meatloaf and by the time it gets to temp, the sauce will be nice and sticky!
Now it’s time for my favorite part! Slice it up and dig in!
If you happen to have any leftovers, the FoodSaver®️ VS3182 Multi-Use Food Preservation System has you covered. The FoodSaver®️ Microwavable Meal Prep Bags are the perfect way to portion it all out. Once you have the leftovers in the FoodSaver®️ Microwavable Meal Prep Bags, all that’s left is to seal it up and throw it in the fridge!
Now all you have to do is pop it in the microwave and you are all set!! Check out the full recipe video on my Instagram @bamagrillmaster
