BBQ is always a staple around here, so we are constantly coming up with different sides to go with it. Some of the time, the sides outshine the main course and that's where these beans come into play! These things are like their own food group with ground beef, bacon, lima beans, red kidney beans, pinto beans, navy beans and good ole baked beans! Now sit back and I'll show you how we made em!

Aight Guys!! There is nothing better than a good ole pot of beans! I mean they can pretty much accompany any protein or honestly be the shining star! Of course you have your normal baked beans, which I love, but why not kick things up a notch? You combine a combo of 5 different beans with bacon, ground beef, sugar and bbq sauce and you have yourself one phenomenal bite!

Aight Guys!! Smokey Sweet Rub
-
Salt and Pepper to Taste
Directions
Start off by browning your ground beef in a cast iron pot seasoned with my Aight Guys!! Smokey Sweet Rub. Once it is cooked all the way, remove it from the pot, drain the grease and set aside.
Add your bacon to the pot and cook until nice and crispy.
Next add ground beef back into the pot with the bacon and bacon grease along with all the cans of beans (Do not drain the beans) and mix well.
Now add the white sugar, brown sugar, The W Sauce and bbq sauce to the pot and mix well.
At this point, you have a couple options. You can either let it simmer on the stove with the lid off or you can put it in your smoker and get some smokey flavor to it. Either way it’s gonna be awesome! Let it cook for about 30 minutes and taste it. Now is the time to add salt and pepper to taste and let it cook for another 30-45 minutes. Let cool, fix you a big bowl and dig in!
