Aight Guys!! This month I am showcasing the New FoodSaver® Multi-Use Handheld Vacuum Sealer! I’m seriously in love with this little gadget! It has its own little charging dock and you can use it with the FoodSaver® Preserve and Marinate Container or the FoodSaver® Vacuum Zipper Bags! Perfect for travel and home!
Today we are making Marinated Grilled Chicken with Marinated Bacon Wrapped Green Bean Bundles. I started off by blanching the fresh green beans and letting them cool. I then grabbed a handful, formed a bundle and wrapped them in bacon. Next I placed them in the Preserve and Marinate Container and covered them with Italian Dressing and Allegro Original Marinade. I placed the top on, turned it to marinade and used the Multi-Use Handheld Vacuum Sealer to start the marinating process. So it turns on, vacuums the air out and then after a few minutes, it releases the air and starts the vacuum all over again. It will do this 3 times during the marinating process.
Now it’s time to marinate the chicken breasts! (See the full recipe below) So again we go through the same process as the green bean bundles and in 12-13 minutes of marinating, that chicken is packed full of flavor! I still can’t get over the flavor that gets pulled into it in that short on time!
Once the marinating process is finished, it’s time to throw everything on the grill! I’ve got my grill set to 275 degrees and throw everything on at the same time and season it up! I used a sweet BBQ rub, but you can use whatever you like. So I’m just looking for some crispy bacon on the green bean bundles and I’m looking for an internal temp of 165 degrees on the chicken.
Now keep in mind that not everything will be done at the same time. The green beans might finish first or vice versa. But, once everything is done, it’s time to dig in! The green bean bundles were amazing and that chicken was super juicy and packed full of flavor!
When everyone has stuffed their bellies, leftovers are a cinch! I used the FoodSaver® Vacuum Zipper Bags along with the FoodSaver® Multi-Use Handheld Vacuum Sealer to store the leftovers in! Now all you gotta do is toss them in the fridge until you’re ready for lunch or breakfast the next day!
