Aight Guys!! Smokey Sweet Rub
Pig in a Blanket Jalapeno Poppers
Directions
Pig in a Blanket Jalapeno Poppers
Place Cream Cheese, Colby Jack Cheese and my Aight Guys!! Smokey Sweet Rub in a bowl and mix until everything is combined and set aside.
Preheat Camp Chef Pellet Grill to 350 degrees.
Grill your Conecuh Sausage. I like to grill my Conecuh Sausage on a hot gas grill or charcoal grill. If you try to smoke it on a low temperature, the skin will be really tough. But cooking it hot and fast, the skin will be bite through.
Allow Conecuh Sausage to cool and then slice it into 1 ½” long pieces and then slice those pieces in half.
Take a jalapeño half, stuff it with the cream cheese mixture, place a piece of sausage on top of the cream cheese mixture and wrap with a crescent roll. Repeat this process for the remaining jalapeños.
Line a piece of parchment paper on a cookie sheet and place your jalapeño poppers on the pan. place pan into smoker and allow to cook until golden brown. Mine took about 15-20 minutes.
Bring inside, plate em up and it’s time to go in for that bite baby! Dig In and enjoy!
