Aight Guys!! Steamed mussels are a must for me! This is my first time trying them at home and I was shocked at how easy and tasty they were! You serve those things up with a slice of lemon and some crusty bread to soak up that juice and you have yourself one incredible meal! Now, let me show you how easy it is to make em!

Ingredients
Steamed Mussels
-
2 - Lbs of Frozen New Zealand Green Mussels
-
2 - Tbsp of Olive Oil
-
2 - Shallots sliced up
-
4-5 - Cloves of Garlic minced
-
1 - Cup of White Wine (I used Pinot Grigio)
-
2 - Tbsp of Kosher Salt
-
1 - Lemon cut into wedges
-
Parsley for garnish
-
Sliced up Baguette coated with olive oil and toasted
Directions
Steamed Mussels
Add Olive Oil, Shallots, Garlic and Salt into a pot over medium heat and allow to sauté for 3-4 minutes.
Add in your mussels and white wine and shake pot until you have an even layer. Turn your heat up to high, cover with a lid and allow to steam 8-9 minutes.
Pour Mussels with the broth into a bowl, garnish with parsley and serve with toasted baguettes and lemon wedges. Dig in and enjoy!
